This book is said to be a spinoff of the fever series and able to stand alone. I don't think that I agree with that. Had I not read the Fever series I believe I would have been lost. With that being said, the Fever series is one of my all time favorite series and this edition did not disappoint. I would like to have seen more of Mac & Jerico, but this was not their story. This is Dani's story. Thanks to the adventures of miss Mega we also get a look at Ryoden as well as one of my new favorite characters, Lor. If you have read the Fever series and liked it, I highly recommend you continue on to Iced. If you didn't like the Fever series, well then, what is wrong with you?!
